What a decade
The Sindy doll was to be updated several times within the 1970's. Her face and body had slimmed down giving a much more realistic look, and she was given poseable joints.
Sindy's wardrobe fashions were updated yearly, with a vast array of outfits, most now do not include the well detailed tiny accessories of the previous decade.
Scenesetters really take off, with production of a large range of furniture from the kitchen to the bedroom, and not forgetting the great outdoors. Also introduced were small play accessories which could be used with the scenesetters for value added play.
With the demise of the Sindy Set and Sindy Club, Pedigree launch June the first freebie doll. June was only available by cutting out heart tokens from packaging.
