New look Sindy otherwise known to collectors as a Sidepart Sindy was introduced in 1968, and was given long glossy sideparted hair in brunette, auburn or blonde which flicked up at the ends and she was sold wearing not one, but four different outfits

Sindy was now given given bright red lips, 'real' long spikey rooted eyelashes, and for the first time a twisty waist. Her markings were Made in Hong Kong on the back of the neck. Each doll came in a closed lid box with a wrap around, a fashion brochure and the new medallion bracelet

Fashion Girl Sindy wore a mauve checked dress with braces teamed with purple kitten heel shoes

Beach-Time Sindy wore cotton yellow knee length shorts with a sleeveless stripey top and mustard colour daisy one strap shoes

Ice Skater Sindy wore an updated version of Skating Girl which was the same outfit but with a slight variation to the pattern

Miss Beautiful Sindy came in a floor length gown in royal blue velvet, with fluted cuffs trimmed in net and black kittens heels were worn on her feet. A 'Sindy' sash, pearl necklace, and a silver crown were included. Variations of this dress are found in dark red or pink
