By 1966 Young World Productions went into overdrive producing a wide range of books with pages to read, dolls to dress and puzzles to ponder over
The Sindy Gift Book was the first to be published, just in time for Christmas 1965. Features included the famous trio starring in story comic strips and plenty of things to make and do to while away the Christmas holiday
In 1966 last years Sindy Gift Book was updated with the Sindy and Patch Gift Book selling for 8/6
Sindy's Pony Gift Book was marketed for Christmas 1967 and as you would expect from the title there is plenty of equestrian articles
Two activity books were also marketed in the same year Sindy presents Playtime and Sindy presents Fun and Games both retailed at 2/6 providing plenty of puzzles, painting, colouring and reading
The Sindy Story Book featured Sindy wearing Weekenders on the cover and stories included Sindy in Town and Sindy in the Country, if both these story titles sound familiar see the cut out doll books!
And, if you remember those cardboard cut out dolls with a wardrobe made from flimsy paper clothes, Sindy was given quite a few Cut out doll dress books over the years, featuring herself and Patch, selling for 2/6
Six paperback books were issued, priced at 2/6 for 112 bumper pages of adventures. The Lighthouse Adventure features Sindy and Patch, whilst visiting an uncle they attend an auction and Patch successfully wins a lighthouse in need of total renovation
The Curious Clock is another winning bid at auction this time by Sindy. The clock has strange magical powers making everyone faint and then it is stolen and the chase is on!
Haunted Island has a spooky old house with strange eerie sounds could it be a ghost or something else? Sindy, Patch, Paul and friends find out.......
The Lone Swimmer a holiday competition win by Sindy see's the gang heading off to an Island, are the local's telling fairy tales or is it the truth?
Desert Escape another great holiday adventure for the famous trio. A rich Sheik with plenty of horses but where is Patch?
Down Texas Way a trip to deliver a pedigree dog ensures the gang has fun staying at a ranch and meeting cowboys but where has yo yo the dog gone?
At a more costly price of 7/6 Sindy Fun and Games book was available with a bumper 128 pages
And finally two sticker fun and paint books entitled Sindy in the Country and Sindy in her house retailed at 2/6
