June Comics: Sindy makes the front pageIn March 1961 a new weekly girls comic named June adorned the newsagents shelves and was on sale every Tuesday. On 30th January 1965 the comic was renamed June and Schoolfriend. During the comics history June and Schoolfriend had weekly ' real life adventures of that famous fashion doll, Sindy, by arrangement with the manufacturers of Sindy dolls'. The Sindy Set stories also featured Patch and Paul, Mitzi and Vicki

Sindy's Diary & Club News: as featured in the June ComicSindy was also given a newsletter page, where the Sindy Club prize winning membership numbers were printed, alongside competitions and Sindy and her friends appeared wearing the latest outfits, with new scenesetters all being advertised as 'available at your local toyshop now'

June & Schoolfriend Sindy Logo: 11th October 1969From the 11th October 1969 Sindy's head appeared on the front page banner advertising her club news inside

Sindy's Scene: 22nd November 1969 & 29th November 1969Sindy's diary and club news page was given a new look in the issue dated 29th November 1969 and renamed Sindy's scene (her diary and club news) the familiar weekly story remained the same

June & Schoolfriend: 13th November 1971By 1971 the weekly story changed from Sindy and her friends to Sindy and her friends in '........' Sindy was last seen starring in 'Boomerang' on 13th November 1971, by the following week not only had the comic name reverted back to June, the logo had also disappeared from the front page

Tammy & June: 24th August 1974In January 1973 the comic had yet another name change and was known as June and Pixie, Sindy's scene was still featured. By the end of 1973 Sindy's scene had disappeared forever. Although the comic was still produced it under went a further name change in 1974 to Tammy and June
